- The picture on the right is an HD-850 installation in the Milwaukee Airport baggage claim area. This installation was done years ago. It is installed right by the cart area and receives a lot of abuse. Please note other than some paint damage it is in great shape. Seeing is believing, This is indeed “Tough Stuff” and it would be tough finding a higher abuse area to install it in.

Your home will be more comfortable with an Q3 boiler because it does not use household air for combustion. It draws combustion air directly from the outdoors and expels exhaust directly to the outdoors through flexible exhaust tubing. Direct venting also reduces the risk of oily odors entering the living area.
The Q3 boiler is designed to protect against the adverse effects of changing operating conditions. Many boilers suffer from poor combustion and soot buildup when their setup conditions are changed by cold oil, cold air or changes in chimney draft. The contoured shape of Intrepid’s heat exchanger has one of the lowest draft losses in the industry. This supports stable combustion. Burners are configured for each specific model to provide smooth, clean, efficient operation. Unlike most oil boilers, Intrepid’s push nipples are located to the side, out of the way of the flue gasses. This creates more uniform heat transfer, minimizes draft loss and reduces soot build-up.
